InterLINK helps libraries stay connected by funding Illume, the BC provincial interlibrary loan system, and by supporting a long-standing delivery service through our own truck and commercial carriers.

InterLINK makes it possible for residents of southwestern BC to use any of the 82 library locations across the Lower Mainland, Sea to Sky corridor, and Sunshine Coast without charge.

InterLINK provides shelf-ready, accessible titles in physical and digital formats. Audiobooks in MP3, DAISY, and digital format are shared between member libraries and available to print disabled patrons.

Through our partnership with HSABC, library staff can access free workshops and webinars on work-life balance, substance use, conflict resolution, and communication skills.

The Indigenous Awareness and Relations courses provide foundational knowledge of the history, culture, current issues, and relationships of Indigenous peoples in Canada.

Receive steep discounts on your library cards through InterLINK. We coordinate an annual order of library cards for all interested BC libraries. Calls for expressions of interest start toward the end of the year and ordering begins early in January.

InterLINK organizes and coordinates an annual order for multilingual materials for all interested BC libraries. Materials are available shelf ready, in multiple genres and languages.  

Playaway creates simple and equitable entertainment devices that help promote literacy and make technology accessible for everyone. InterLINK has a preferential pricing agreement with Playaway that includes products such as Wonderbooks, Launchpads, and Playaways.

NewToBC connects newcomers with essential settlement information and services, helping them settle and thrive by fostering connections within BC communities.

BC Libraries Present is a virtual author series that brings exciting conversations to library users in every corner of British Columbia. This collaborative initiative provides the same high-quality, online programming available to all BC public libraries at no cost.

InterLINK’s Youth Services Committee provides a forum for Youth Services staff collaboration. Budgeted dollars support shared events and material development for customers, training opportunities for staff, and shared best practices to ensure service excellence.
