Audiobooks - FOR PRINT DISABLED USERS ONLY
This audiobook service is restricted to print disabled users.
A person is eligible to receive Audiobooks service if he or she is unable to use conventional print materials due to a visual, physical or perceptual disability and qualifies for InterLINK library service
Eligibility is defined in accordance with current copyright legislation.
The Act defines a “perceptual disability” as a disability that prevents or inhibits a person from reading or hearing a literary, musical, dramatic or artistic work in its original format, and includes such a disability resulting from
a) severe or total impairment of sight or hearing or the inability to focus or move ones eyes
b) the inability to hold or manipulate a book, or
c) an impairment relating to comprehension
Following on this restriction, under no circumstances are these materials to be made available to ineligible patrons.

The collection consists of audiobooks produced by InterLINK, but also includes unabridged titles from Canadian suppliers and from commercial producers in England and the United States.
