Governance - Board

As a co-operative federation of eighteen autonomous public libraries, InterLINK operates as a Library Federation according to the Library Act of British Columbia (1994) Section 49 and is governed by a library board constituted in accordance with that act.

The board is composed of one representative from each of the eighteen member library boards. Members are appointed for one-year terms by their own library boards and may be reappointed for up to eight terms.

The Board elects three officers:

  • Chair
  • Vice-Chair
  • Treasurer
